ISTC_CMSA#

You probably wonder what "istc-cmsa" means. This cryptic acronym is for "ISTC Collection Management Software and Architecture".

The ISTC was a technical instance from EDIT . It continues after the end of EDIT as a CETAF activity.

During ISTC meeting in Berlin on October 2010, a subgroup dedicated to work on collection management issue was created.

Initially this group is nothing more than a mailing list with the bad name of istc-cmsa. It can at least allow participants to have a technical feedback on solutions used in other European Institutions and aiming at sharing solutions.

On March 2011 a workshop was held in Paris to identify common issues and compare solutions.
